Stronger Knees w/ Compass Lunge Positions
The compass lunge position is one of the best and efficient ways to begin implementing sport-specific mobility drills. It’s also a great way to isolate different sides and positions of the body that you can’t normally do.
In today’s training, Ryan covers one of our favorite lower body mobility drills – the compass lunge knee circle. While this exercise predominantly mobilizes knee, it is also a great exercise for the hips and ankles. We use this specific drill to rehab lower body injuries, but more importantly, it’s essential for avoiding injuries in the long-term.
Make sure to add these compass lunge knee circles into your warmups and through the day to get some more movement in!
