Stress and Breathing

Stress and Breathing should go hand and hand – except on the other ends of the spectrum.  

Well kind of…

Stress (the bad kind) is an activation of the Sympathetic Nervous System and Breathing (the good kind) can activate the Parasympathetic Nervous System.

Sympathetic (SNS)= Fight or Flight

Parasympathetic (PNS) = Rest and Digest

In this training, I dive a bit deeper on how you can target the PNS with some quality breathing drills to help your mechanics and biochemistry.
